Wayfinding
Getting to UBC by Bus
The most direct route between UBC and downtown Vancouver is the #44 bus. The bus can be picked up at various stops in the downtown core. Please check the pdf map of the #44 route and its timetable.
You can also take the #99 from UBC to Granville and Broadway and then switch to a local bus (such as the #17, #10, #8) to go downtown. More route maps, schedules and trip planning tools are available online at: http://www.translink.bc.ca
Getting to UBC by Car
From downtown Vancouver, take Burrard Street south across the Burrard Street bridge to 4th Avenue and turn right (westbound) all the way to UBC. Alternatively, you can take 10th Avenue, 16th Avenue, or 41st Avenue (which turns into SW Marine Drive). The UBC campus is the furthest point west along these routes.
Information on parking is available at http://www.parking.ubc.ca/visitor.html The Fraser River parkade is located adjacent to the First Nations House of Learning (main symposium location) and near the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (location of the Monday night reception).
